I seriously worry about some of my cognition. I was reading about Tramadol (newly prescribed to me) and in the “acts in a similar way” category was Nucynta…which I read as “Nutella”. I was extremely excited for about a tenth of a second.
You may remember our post a while back on the 1994 classic, Law Enforcement Guide to Satanic Cults. Well, well you can praise Internet Satan, because we’ve stumbled across another clip! In this segment, our bemulleted expert guides us through what must be the most Satanic park in all the land, enlightening us as to the relationship between pagans and gay people, as well as the meaning of the “pentacle,” which I have deduced is his own portmanteau of “pentagram” and “testicle.” I remember the collective delusion that was the Satanism panic of the 1980s and 90s. Victims of the murders attributed to the West…I’m just going to leave this here with no commentary. Someone with better words than I will have words…
Various trigger warnings. nsfw maybe.
I cannot even believe that people thought of this as reality, but they did. Too ignorant to seek out the truth, see this type of bigotry for what it was, and learn. Was it just the 80’s? Nope. Still happens today. Probably won’t ever stop happening. The most we can hope for is that that group gets smaller and has less less influence on our political and social landscapes.
And also, the written commentary is truly making me pee my pants.
“Looks like satanic hopscotch”
Very true. And yes, the commentary was spectacular!
And where the fuck did this asswaffle get his information on satanism, witchcraft, paganism, and Egyptology from?

She will be amazing.
River Song’s timeline (so far), in pictures.
I’m really glad someone figured this out and put it in order. =)

Necessity is the mother of invention alright. When we first moved in I couldn’t find my pill cutter or my pill cutting knife in any box labeled “mom”. I was kind of frantic because my meds are specific enough that I have three that have to be halved, one of them is 3/16th of an inch in diameter. Anyway, during a search of things that were open, I found an old pair of wire cutters in my tool box and decided that anything was better than laughably attempting to break them in half with Hulk Smash. Turns out, the wire cutters work so well, I haven’t stopped using them.
Got this from one of the tumblrs I follow, but can’t remember which one, sorry. Felt like doing it just because. =)
